I could eat everything on the menu every time I dine here. No way to decide which is the best dish. The jerk wings and phenomenal, savory and hot enough to enjoy without consequence. Lobster Mac, probably the best I've had. Even the salads are works of art, I could go on and on. Love this place!
MoreI order the grits and lobster. It was very lumpy and dry. It looked like they took the lobster's claw and chopped it added onions to make it look like a good portion. Very poor presentation🤮. Service is ok.
MoreCost and with great fresh oysters and clams
The lobster roll was fantastic, a bit small but super tasty. They only have 3 choices for dessert so we decided to have them all the pistachio cake, the lava cake with vanilla and raspberry sauce, and the Apple and coconut bake.
MoreGood atmosphere and service, but surprisingly quiet for a Friday evening. We sat at a window seat just inside from the cute lil patio seating area. I had the Lobster Roll with housemade chips and coleslaw, which was very good. My girlfriend had the catch of the day. I don't remember what the fish was, but the server explained that it was "like a red snapper." It came with French-cut green beans in a sort of mild curry sauce. She enjoyed it as well.
MoreHad a excellent experience in here with my kid. The food arrives quickly and the customer service is just fantastic. Prices are affordable.
MoreIt looks so unassuming that we skipped it for years. Don't make the same mistake! Fresh, delicious seafood in a nice vibe. Limited sidewalk and courtyard seating.
MoreOff the Hook is a pleasant seafood restaurant in Astoria.Service was friendly, though apologetic and slow on a busy night. Starting with my appetizers, I tried the raw oysters and a cup of the New England clam chowder. The oysters were simply okay at best. There were bits of broken shell in half or more of them, and the oysters themselves were dried out and just not anything to write home about. I probably wouldn't get them from here again. The chowder was good, however. The mains were tasty across the board. My wife's lobster roll (which I tried some of) was solidly good. I lived in the Boston area for almost four years and I can safely say that this lobster roll would probably pass the test up there. The real star of the show however was the catch of the day, which was some sort of soft white fish (I never bothered to clarify which type) in a delicious coconut basil curry sauce with a cassava cake underneath. It was great and I highly recommend it.
MoreAmazing little place. Almost like a cool restaurant in the village /Manhattan. Staff is great especially Rhina she was informative and sweet helped us in selecting our choices. Menu not large but everything was ABSOLUTELY FRESH. No doubt you will love the fusion menu and funny little court yeard. The best this year.
MoreHappy hour oysters & beer!!
Great service and tasty food. Small backyard that let's you not eat on the street.
MoreLovely seafood restaurant with a raw bar and great cocktails (mostly rum based). Small and cozy, with a cute backyard patio. Can get a bit noisier later in the evening, but was pretty quiet when we went around 6pm on a nice summer Saturday. Especially recommend the fish and chips, lobster mac and cheese, and the fish tacos
MoreAll the food items are cooked with fresh and healthy material. Went for a short meal but noticed some really good dishes in the menu, and so decided to come here for a complete meal. Popular dishes include Lobster Roll, Lobster Mac, Grilled Oysters, Shrimp Mofongo, etc.
MoreI love this sopt. Cute little hidden gem off 30th. Food and drinks are amazing. Perfect for date night or dining with friends.
MoreWhat a treat. The best ever sea food I had.
Went to pick up food and was appalled. No only are employees not following social distancing guidelines with regards to capacity (jamming 7+ people to a table during happy hour), but NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE HAD THEIR MASK ON PROPERLY. Inside employees were seen without masks and servers delivered food to tables with masks around chin. We also saw another employee carrying an ice bucket right under his chin WITH NO MASK AT ALL, with the ice inches from his nose/mouth. This behavior has been seen DAILY since they reopened. Already notified 311. Also, big downgrade in the quality of fish for their fish and chips.
MoreAmazing food. Amazing ambiance. Lobster roll and lobster mac &cheese are a Lobster lover's dream! A nice little gem tucked away in Astoria. Reasonably priced and fresh food. Loved it!!Service was great. Warm and welcoming. Food came out in under 15mins! No wait time to be seated and it was a Friday evening!Definitely coming back!
MoreGreat food and the guys and the owner are so nice! Highly recommend +++
The place was OK, nothing special. I tried better seafood restaurants. The staff was attentive. Just, probably not my place. They have nice outdoor seating. The food was average.
MoreI had such an amazing experience for delivery. I ordered snow crab legs and a warm lobster roll. The lobster roll was overflowing with tender fresh lobster in a warm garlic bun, it was so delicious. Then there were two snow crab clusters that came with two sides of butter and lemons. Although I don't feel like these were fresh snow crabs, it still definitely filled the craving and the delivery was very fast. Definitely recommend!
MoreLove love love this place! For a first time visit, it exceeds my expectation. Brunch is great, our server Rina is pleasant and sweet. The interior decor is rustic and classy. I can't wait to visit their outdoor patio in the summertime.
